This is a once a week 60 minute practical and theory based lessons over a 12 week timeframe to build on your skills from Cerftificate 3 & 4 to turn you into the best trainer you can be. Just like Marlena who recently worked with me.
"My name is Marlena, and I have been in the in industry for the past 12
years. I had recently taken some time off for maternity leave and when I
decided to go back to work, I found it difficult as clients either were not

pain, which inhibited her goal of weight loss.
After some testing that Nick had shown me, corrective weights and
stretching program. She has lost 3 kilos, increased her muscle mass by 4kilos
and body fat decreased by 6%, all in 2 months, best part of all though, She is
pain free. Her lower back no longer causes her grief, both mentally and
physically."

It

- How to find and keep clients: By far the biggest problem facing a PT is how to get started. You might have some great programs, exercise and nutrition resources, but if you dont have any clients to train with it is worthless!
- Competition: Other trainers are unlikely to help you as you are their competitor! I worked in a large gym with over 20 trainers and know exactly what this is like.
- Lack of knowledge If you work in a small studio there is nowhere to hide so if you are not up to sratch with the other trainers, no client will want to train with you!
- Working with injured clients. This is a big area that may PT's are not prepared for. Clients are more overweight, stressed out, sedentary than ever before, meaning chance of injury is very high. Clients expectations are very high, they want results and if they dont get it they wont stay with you. So you must know how to train clients with injury to be successful.
